INTRODUCTION In this book it will be discussing the difference between the comic book and the television. This book will tell the stories of sixteen different stories, but eight share something in common with the counter parts. You can explore the different type of art styles among each individual comic book. An experience the different journeys that each of the t show have to offer. It will take a look at the pages from each comic book and compare them to that of the television show. This book is meant to discuss how these show came to be because almost every one know that almost every popular tv show started as a Comic. We will how for example that in the comic I zombie has a variety of creatures besides zombies, but as you watch the TV show there is only on creature in that show and that is zombies. Also venture into territories that your parents won’t let you venture by reading Lucifer. Well Lucifer is an angel that is being hunted for the death of God and he needs to prove him innocents in order to get the other angels off his back. Also See that some scenes are played out as it is in the comic book. Like when rick and the gang set the guy against the tree to die. Also discover the authors behind theses excellent work of art. From Robert Kirkman interestingly enough wrote the comic book of walking dead and did the tv show of the walking dead. Also Learn about the flash himself and learn how be came to be the flash and where he got the name from. Which is rare to see this especially in the movie and television industry because not many writer get to have control of their work once it is consider to be a movie. Also learn that any male or female can be a super hero that everything a boy a woman can do to. This book also highlights hat nearly two to three of the artist that wrote their book have complete control while the rest have other people turn the pages of a book into reality. How each individual sorry differs from the pages it was written on. These executive writers were able to take a comic book and make it come to life for people to watch on television. Also you get to see how they dress the characters and try to recreate the clothing matched in the comic book. Which is really awesome for someone to be able to create clothing from a sketched drawing right in front of them. Also learn how the arthurs and writers made it in life. What area were they involved in and what contributions that they have mad to society. I you are a curious artist that would like to are interested in learning about comic books and writing scripts and bring them to life on the screen then I suggest you read this book and expolre the variety of things that these two categories have to offer.

Chris Roberson Chris Roberson born in august 25,1970, and spent majority of his Life in Huston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He graduated with his degree in literature and minor in history. Chris Roberson has written several novels besides IZombie. The novels are Here, X-Men: The Return, The Dragon’s Nine Sons, Three Unbroken, Paragaea: A Planetary Romance, and many more. He and with his business partner Allison Baker are publishers of MonkeyBrain Books, and corporation that specializes in fiction and non-fiction genres. He had been a finalist four times for the World Fantasy Award. Once each for writing and editing, and the last two four publishing. He also was a finalist for the John W. Campbell Award for best writer. An also 4 times in the Sidewise Award for Best Alternate History. He currently resides in Austin, Texas with his daughter and wife.

IZOMBIE Gwen Dylan I, zombie is a comic book that focuses around a woman named Gwen Dylan. Gwen works at a Eco-friendly cemetery, and she is also a zombie detective. In order for her to retain her humanity she has to consume one human brain once a month. If she doesn’t she would go full “Night of the Living Dead”, and lose her memories. The side effects of eating human brain is that she inherits certain traits and memories of the person she consumed. She uses the memories and traits to solve the murder of the victim. She also works with a ghost from the 60’s, were-terrier, and a bunch of vampire.

“New Start” This is page one of Dead To The World. This is the very first volume of “Izombie”. Gwen along with her co-workers are waiting for the funeral service to come to an end. While the service is going on Gwen is reflecting on the new world she has to face now. While brief words of the pastor is made out while the service is happening. She soon comes to realize that this is reality now and there is no going back from this affliction she has to deal with now.
“Were-retriever” Further on in the comic book, you can see Scott coming in with papers to give to Gwen. Upon handing the papers to Gwen, Scott realized that he has transformed into a were-retriever. He forgot that there was a full moon to night. The 60’s ghost singer told Scott that he should be more observant and care.

“Hiding in plain sight.” Nothing like Gwen and her companions out for a stroll at night trick or treating. As they use thier affliction as costumes to obtains treats. The one night a year that they can truly be themselves.
“Pop Ups” Gwen is having a conversation with Scott. Then a guy in a lab coat comes out and pushes Scott out of the way and points gun at Gwen. Then a woman with curly hair comes up and punches the guy in the face.

“Kissing farewell� Gwen is kissing John Amon and having a conversation with him out in the middle of the night. Seems the scene is set where something; is fixing to happen to John, so Gwen is kissing John before that moment happens. John is probably saying farewell as he discusses to the plan with Gwen and then tells her she needs to go.

IZOMBIE Olivia “Liv” Moore

The tv show introduces the main character whom is named Olivia “Liv” Moore. She attended a party where it turned into zombie chaos. She under goes a transformation making her pass for goth for her pale completion and completely snow white hair. To obtain her supply of brains to maintain her humanity and memories. She got a job working at a coroner’s office in Seattle. Dr. Ravi works with Liv to find a cure for her affliction. There is also a side effect when it comes to consuming the brain. She obtains the personality traits and memories which she uses to solves the murder of the victim. Not only is she solving cases she also has to deal with the corporation that made into a brain-eating zombie.
“Grumpy Old Liv” Liv consumes the brain of an old man. She has to solve the case with the detective and dr. This is happening while the Dr. is helping Liv come up with a cure to get rid of her affliction. This is the side effect that Liv experience when she consumes the brain. During that period there are certain events that triggered the memories that she obtains where she uses it to solve the murders of the victim she has in her head.
“Fifty Shades of Grey Matter” This scene is from the episode Fifty Shades of Grey Matter where Liv consumed the brain of woman whom wrote erotic sexual fiction. The title is pretty self explanatory. Liv wore provocative clothing and constantly had sexual encounters with her friends and solved the her murder by a co worker whom was jealous of her appearance and constant rise to fame with her writing.

“Zombie Bro” This is a scene from Zombie Bro. Liv consumed the brain of a phrat boy. This proves disastrous because she is constantly wanting to party every time she gets the chance to party instead of doing her job. She even developed that frat boy language and lintel to help her solve the case of one of the frats that were killed by one of the other members in the fraternity.
“Even The Cowgirls Have The Blue” This scene is from Even the Cowgirls have the blues. Liv consumed the brain of a country singer which effects her relationship with major. She is constantly paranoid about him cheating on her, so she constantly goes through his stuff and phone to find out if he is cheating on her. This effects her relationship with major because he constantly filling like liv is getting annoying for him to bare, and need to face the reality of being part of the undead.

“Cap Town� This scene is from Cap Town from Izombie. Liv consumes the brain of a vigilante named fog. She is then driven by the brain to go out and patrol the area and solve the murder of fog. The episode started out with muggers robbing a woman which ended in the death of fog. Major on the other hand is dealing with Liv constant snooping which is driving him over board.

Geoff John
This right here is John a writer born in detroit whom engaged in media arts, screenwriting, film theory, and film production at Michigan state University. He spent a short internship period working as an assistant and later moved on up working with Richard Donner. He started off his comic career writing STARS AND S.T.R.I.P.E and creating a comic for DC. He obtained several awards from the Wizard Fan Award for Breakout Talent of 2002 and again for 05, 06, 07, and 08. After his accomplishment in running The Flash, Teen Titans and the best-selling Infinite Crisis miniseries, and he co wrote with his mentor Donner. AMong 2006 he co wrote 52 with Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, and Greg Rucka. He is writing the story of Dc Universe Online for action games from Sony, and recently joined DC as the cheif creative Officer.

“The Flash� Barry Allen Barry Allen a.k.a The Flash life came to a complete halt upon the murder of his mother. The killer was never found driving Barry into the field of forensic science. A workaholic that spent his most of his time in the lab solving cases. But when a freak accident happened a flash of bolt struck Barry giving him the ability to run at an abnormal speed. The can run so fast that he can also run up buildings, across vast oceans, and around the world. Barry obsession with crime solving cause him to lose track of time even though his ability is speed. Even though he is the fastest man alive, he still runs behind.

“Two Lives” From this page of the comic book of the flash. He is engaging in a conversation with Patty about an investigation you can see the casual flirting and awkward encounters on this page. After getting word of something Barry quickly put on his costume and raced down the road dodging cars and trucks. This shows the humor and romance between characters in a comic book about a super hero.
“Sacrifice” The Flash appears to be a bad situation. A guy screams out his name as he heads to the light. An the various images scattered across the page. It could be various flashes of interaction and life. By that standard he probably is heading into a fate of death. This shows that even heroes have to face their darkness.

“Powers” This is another page from the comic book. This page shows the power that the flash possesses. His power of speed opens him to other possibilities. You can see Barry running across a body of water without falling in or sinking in the water. The speed allows him to maintain that balance and stay afloat on the body of water.
“Close Call?” In this page of the comic book the Flash rushed through people in a flash to save a woman from being hit by a truck. This is quiet the humor and a dangerous situation at the same time. The guy carrying groceries and a girl skirt flying up from the force. Barry is risking his identity by saving a bystander from getting hit by a car. This shows that no matter what he is willing to make sacrifices to save people lives.

“Epic Battles� Barry is fighting a evil rival whom also possesses the same or nearly the same abilities as the flash. The flash swings and hits what appears to be the negative flash. Both appeared to have suffered damage from each of the hit took en by each other. This is at the height of a intense struggle between good and evil.

Barry Allen Until recent years Barry Allen lived a normal life like any other person in C.S.I. in the Central City Police department. He secretly has a crush on Iris West who is the daughter of Barry’s surrogate father, Detective Joe West. Joe took in Joe fifteen
years ago after Barry mother was killed and the person blamed for her death was his father. His father received a life sentence, yet Barry thinks that his father didn’t kill his mother,but the guy in the yellow. A accident occurred in the S.T.A.R. labs Particle Accelerator exploded creating a lightning storm of dark matter that hit Barry. This accident gave Barry the ability to run faster than any living thing on this planet. Barry created a new personality apart from himself to fight powerful enemies that threaten the town and the heroes name is the Flash.

“Killer This is the scene from season three episode seven. This episode starts off with Savitar having Barry in his hand and rushing him through the city. Just by the battle going on Barry is clearly weaker than Savitar. Caitlin came through a portal with the help of Cisco. Caitlin uses her powers to freeze Savitar. He eventually breaks free and instead of continuing on the battle he flees from the battle in this episode.
“New Arrival This is the scene from season 3 episode is where Flash and the gang are getting used to a new rival named Harrison Wells to EarthPrime. His personality seems great from being outgoing, nice and conscientious which for Cisco that seems off putting so Cisco can’t bring himself to trust Wells. Cisco confronts Harrison and gives him advice to step back and observe insteadn of engaging. Harrison finally gets around to passing o the message to Caitlin that few days off.

“Evil “Lurking” This episode starts off with Barry explaining to Felicity everything that has changed. Also a dangerous foe comes into the picture. A enemy that the flash will have to face later on in the season. Well back to what this episode is about. An the Barry is not the only one working in the lab anymore. He now has to share his space with everyone else on the team,but it seems later on in the season he will et along with the rest of his comrades.
“Magenta” This scene is from season three episode three titled Magenta. The title is pretty self explanatory. Before hand Barry and Iris finally go on their first date. Which causes issues to boil over later on in the season. Magenta actually sets up a varitey of parallels, and at some point it feels like there is

“Haunting Past” This scene is from season 2 episode 21. Barry even though he possesses the ability to run doesn’t mean he can run from tragedies that comes his way. Barry speaks with the Speed Force as he finds out what it is willing to take to retrieve his power of speed again. While Barry is trapped in a when and where of the speed force’s own creation. His friends are spending majority of their time trying to bring Barry back from where every he is located at.

“Intense scene” This is scene straight from the comic book of Lucifer. In this page Lucifer is fighting an angel. It looks like Lucifer is losing the battle with the angel. The angel has Lucifer by his neck. Then the angel punches right through his chest.

Tom Kapinos
Tom Kapinos creator of the tv show Lucifer. He barely stayed in school, and eventually dropped out of New York University graduate program in Dramatic writing. Went to the coast where he instantly got a behind a scene role on the drama show Dawson’s Creek. After he started writing for the show in 1999, Kapinos went on up the ranks to be executive producer. Since the end of Dawson’s Creek in 2003, Kapinos went on to write a script based on his experience was a screenwriter and artistic visions, instead of going down a common path of successful pop cultures. Kapinos is married with three children.

“Lucifer Morning star� Lucifer is the fallen angel whom one day got bored of being lord of hell. He escaped hell and found a place in Los Angeles. Where he is the owner of a club. He has also taken a liking to LAPD detective Chloe Decker to give punishment to criminals. A guy who is devilishly handsome, charismatic, and charming. He has a ability of manipulating people into confess their deepest desire or in some case dark secret which in a way help chloe solve her case. When every he is around Chloe he becomes vulnerable for he can bleed and even die if she is near by when he gets shot or killed. Maze a very attractive demon created to serve Lucifer, and wants to get back to hell but is having a hard time getting lucifer on her side.

“Mommies Evil Plan” This is a scene Lucifer season 2 episode 9. Lucifer’s mother is being confronted by Chloe’s baby daddy at a bar. While Lucifer’s brother and Maze are eave dropping on both of them. It seems to be difficult for her to connect with this world especially having to deal with violence and fighting since the first minute being on planet earth.

“Escape” On this page of the comic book a foreign object is entering earth’s atmosphere. It zooms closer and closer to earth by earth’s gravitational pull. It crash lands in the northern hemisphere on earth. Landing deep inside the cave. It soon will become supergirl sanctum. A place she would call home and the last bit of what she will soon miss from her own home world.
“Overpowered” In this scene in the comic book supergril is getting attacked. You can clearly see that she is losing the battle. This is a low point in the comic book for supergirl. It is also something she has to overcome to get better at being the protester.

She thinks of this as a dream as she continues to think about her home world and the snow that fell on the land reminded her of the snow that fell on krypton. “Bullets Are No Match” On this page of the comic book Supergirl is dealing with several men with guns. She flies straight to them as they shoot at her. As she gets close she pushes one of the men. Then she grabs both of the mens head and smashed them against one another knocking them out.

John Constantine Constantine ever since from a young age had been in a occult to escape the dreadful life. It did not take him long to find out that he possessed special powers,but in a bad situation when it cost the life of someone closes to him. Constantine since then had made it his goal to go after the demons and occult who sit there and choose to abuse the power. Even though he may seem to be a good guy he still has a bad behavior. He would still lief, double-cross, hurt or, betray anyone including the person closes to him.

It appears that Constantine is in a foreign land. Then a group right next to the vehicle he was in had guns. It appears that this group is fixing to cause trouble. It also appears that this is a gang, and that is when Constantine goes to another mode just in case he has to protect himself.
“POWERS” Here is another page from Constantine . On this page Constantine is fighting an opponent. Joseph “Joe” Mallozzi is an executive producer and writer for Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate Universe, and the indefinitely shelved movie Stargate: Extinction. He co-writes all his Stargate related projects with Paul Mullie. Joe and Paul joined the Stargate SG-1 crew as writers and producers at the beginning of Season 4. The first episode written by them, “Window of Opportunity”, is a well known fan favourite for the entire series. The two joined Robert C.
