RINGS Jacob proposed with a family ring he got from my dad,
but since I’m not much of a big diamond kind of girl, we picked out a stack of bands (Cathy Waterman, Dean Harris and Zoe) for me to wear everyday. We found his ring together at OK on 3rd Street.

CEREMONY We wanted the entire wedding to feel super Tuscan, so using hay barrels as benches seemed the most natural choice for the setting.
WELCOME Every house on the property [there are 8] got a wooden wine crate filled with Chianti, bottles of water, bug spray, sunscreen, Advil, biscotti, and a guide to the area that Jacob and I made.
OUT ON THE TOWN Castellini in Chianti is the closest village to our house (10 minutes) and it’s absolutely charming. There are no cars allowed. There’s the most delicious pizzeria in the center where they make each pizza in a wood-burning oven. We set all of the outdoor tables in the center of town and kept the wine, beer, and pizzas flowing for hours.

POOLSIDE RECEPTION I had heard
that the bride and groom don’t eat, but we sure did. Every course was delicious. And it couldn’t have been a more beautiful night. As we were sitting down for dinner around the pool, the colors of the sky were spectacular and the stars started appearing. It was magical.
