ultivating her love of jewelry from an early age, L.A.-based connoisseur Hilary Tisch remembers admiring her mother’s Spratling and Pineda pieces. With a recent degree from the Gemological Institute of America and having trained at renowned jeweler Fred Leighton, Tisch is a practiced jeweler currently researching and amassing a private collection of antique and estate pieces. Inspired by Mexican silver from the ’30s and ’40s, Tisch says they “carry energy and have a story.
