Kendall Elliott and Eric Ovitz were both new to San Francisco when they met at a kickball game. Eric, who’s pursuing a law degree, proposed in St. Barths two years later (Kendall works in HR for a tech company). It was then up to the team at Bash, Please to help pull off the big day at Eric’s father’s (Creative Artists Agency co-founder Michael Ovitz) house in Beverly Hills. The art-filled, contemporary space informed many of the design elements including the seven-tiered cake—a replica of the Sol LeWitt sculpture in front of the residence. There was also a good omen, Eric remembers: “It hadn’t rained on that day in over 150 years in L.A. It made the wedding even more beautiful.” •
