City & County Resources

Coeur d’Alene uses a mayor-council form of government. Our current mayor Steve Widmyer, is accompanied by six members of the city council. A fully staffed city hall provides Coeur d’Alene with an array of city services. Three elected commissioners govern Kootenai County. Other elected officials include a prosecuting attorney, sheriff, auditor, assessor, treasurer, coroner and county clerk.
