Shoptd Summer Camp Tips

Tahoe Donner’s popular summer camps and programs, which have started their staggered on-sale dates, are likely to sell out. To ensure quick and easy enrollment, make sure all child members, including those 6 and under, are set up in your ShopTD online profile as members before all camps and programs go on sale.

You can view all individuals on your account by logging in to shop.tahoedonner.com and clicking “My Account.” If you need to add additional members to your account, please get in touch with Member Services before registration day. Adding a member to your profile on registration day may result in not being able to purchase the program you desire.

When signing up for a camp, anticipate longer-than-normal online wait times. You may be placed in our ShopTD virtual waiting room during high-traffic periods. All members who enter the waiting room before the on-sale time, whether it is five minutes beforehand or two hours beforehand, will be equally randomized to enter the store once the products go live. Joining the waitlist early does not increase your odds of entering the site first. And once in the store, be sure to check out within 15 minutes of adding items to your cart.

Downhill Ski Lodge Web Hub Revamp

Staff and the board are excited to continue making progress on the Downhill Ski Lodge Replacement Project. Staff have submitted applications and reviews to the Town of Truckee and provided the environmental studies requested by the Town of Truckee to date; they are currently waiting on an environmental review from the Town’s consultant. Once the environmental determination by the Town is complete, a project timeline should become clearer.

In the meantime, Tahoe Donner staff continue working with project consultants to focus on value engineering – looking at ways to reduce costs that don’t impact the member experience or operations – while the project is currently out to bid.

To find historical information, recent status updates, frequently asked questions, design plans and more in a fresh new layout, check out the recently renovated web hub at tahoedonner.com/ski-lodge-replacement
