Wild Game Dinner (Buy Your Ticket or Sponsorship Here)

AUGUST 15

A dedicated team of CCHS Alumni, led by Stephen Ayala ’76, Andres Gonzales ’77, and Steve Garza ’76, will host its third annual Central Catholic Wild Game Dinner on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 5 to 11 p.m. in the Central Catholic gym.

Bring your classmates, family and friends to enjoy a memorable night of CCHS Brotherhood and a true wild game dinner with an extensive assortment of entrees (ranging from venison to seafood to pork to beef), gourmet side dishes and adult beverages of choice. Special highlights are the live and silent auctions, in addition to ticket and game card drawings. Dress is casual recreational attire. Tickets range from $150 for individual tickets to VIP tables of 10 with VIP parking, gifts and waiter service at your table. Don’t wait too long; this event sells out every year!

Support the Wild Game Dinner through donations of gifts for the auctions and drawings; donation forms are available on our website. Generous sponsorships are also available; we thank Jag Public Safety (Lucio Gonzalez/Nick Carnevale); Ranch Investments (John Ed & Debra Stepan); Central Electric (Freddie ’94, Ernie ’95, Chris Martinez ’96 and Ernest Mora, ’69); Ricos Products (Tony Liberto ’82); The Kahlig Group (Clarence Kahlig ’65); and Rich Funke Coach USA for already signing up as $3,000 Trophy Sponsors.

“What separates the CCHS Wild Game Dinner from other wild game dinners in the city is that we hunt and kill the wild game ourselves; we cook it ourselves; and we serve it ourselves in keeping with the Marianist tradition of service and leadership. The mission of our committee ‘A Nobis…Ad Nos….Pro Nobis’ which means ‘from us; to us; for us,’” says WGD Chairman Stephen Ayala, ’76. “I sincerely thank the dedicated committee of 16+ alumni who work tirelessly to put on this first-class event.”

The WGD committee has pledged $250,000 towards the Convocation Center; remaining proceeds will go towards financial assistance for graduating Seniors; immediate school needs; and academic programs. The first two dinners raised more than $170,000.
