Liam Martin started with the Delta Group on the 25 March 2020. At the time, he was an all-rounder operator and a man on the ground. Ambitious, with a head for detail, and a strategic thinker. Within 12 months, Liam had secured his place, representing Delta Group as a senior figure on both machinery and the ground, and in 2021 he commenced running work elements of our construction projects, which included the demolition and civil works for the Repatriation Hospital. In 2022, Liam Martin led our Aboriginal partnership – Widi Ngaruwa’s project – Tarrkarri. This project is of huge national significance and will provide a platform for the world to learn about the unique cultures and incredible story of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. As part of this project, Liam led a multimillion-dollar package including piling, retention works, concreting, detailed and bulk excavation. Notably, throughout the delivery of this project, Liam was at the forefront of providing an inclusive and culturally safe work environment. Liam’s dedication to both delivery and maintaining a safe working environment whilst representing the Delta Group is nothing short of outstanding. His story is testimony to the strength and tenacity that drives Liam to succeed.
