Bessie Kibbons

: was Central’ s historian for many years. Born

in 1883, ten years before Central Christian Church began,

she died in 1973 before she turned 90. Her love for Central was evident in the historical documents she kept and produced and I am indebted to her dedication, research, and storytelling.

Alyssa Spradlin: Her paper on Sadie McCoy Crank was instrumental in helping me to narrow down a timeline.
