North were successful in five categories with the following projects: • Wyong Art House (Winner Public Buildings $6 Million - $12 Million) • Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence (Winner Commercial Projects over $10 Million) • Opal Aged Care, Rutherford (Winner Aged Care Medium Density) • Orana Nursing Home, Point Clare (Winner Extensions Renovations & Refurbishments over $5 Million) • And of course the overall award of Commercial Builder of the Year. North were successful as Commercial Builder of the Year against the likes of John Holland, and Hansen Yuncken, companies that

New vet hospital built with passion Three women with a passion for helping sick and injured animals of all sizes have established a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital at Howes Road, Somersby. Somersby Animal Hospital opened its doors on the 1st of June 2016 with a vision to be a centre of excellence in the treatment of and caring for domestic, farm and wildlife, large and small. Co-founders Dr Robin Crisman, Michelle Sizer and Gabriela Dahmen have invested over $2 million in this purpose built facility; focused exclusively on the well- being of their animal patients and their owners. Dr. Crisman, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with additional degrees in Veterinary and Biomedical Science has practised for over 24 years both in the USA and Australia. Mrs. Sizer, a qualified veterinary nurse and the Hospital’s Practice Manager, is a highly skilled Practice Manager with extensive Australian and overseas experience. Mrs. Dahmen, is a financial controller with international experience providing valuable financial management of the business. The hospital team includes three vets and seven nursing staff. The hospital is accessible to University, TAFE and other college students seeking to gain valuable work experience.
