We work on projects throughout the course that challenge and help improve my knowledge of photography. My lecturers, having worked in the industry, help me to develop my ideas which help me create successful outcomes. The equipment available to us
on the course is brilliant, multiple studios equipped with professional studio lighting, darkrooms and cameras ranging from digital to film which we can borrow.
What are your future plans? I am progressing onto CCAD Hartlepool Campus to study FdA Applied Arts to further my creative learning
What’s your favourite thing about CCAD? My favourite thing about CCAD is being part of a friendly and passionate course. Students are able to help each other throughout the course with ideas, techniques and research which have really helped me to learn. I’ve made some lifelong friends at CCAD who I will always keep in contact with.
Tell us something about your course/the college that you didn’t know prior to coming here? I never knew there would be such a variation of projects for us to work on throughout the course from documentary to studio work for advertisement photography. There really is something for everyone.
