VILLA ZORAYDA MUSEUM’S CANDLELIGHT TOURS

This holiday season, the Villa Zorayda Museum invites guests to its annual Candlelight Tours starting on Friday, December 6th, during St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights. The museum will feature beautiful Victorian decorations and a grand Christmas tree in the “Court of Lions,” illuminated by over 100 candles. Visitors can enjoy an audio-guided tour highlighting the museum’s rich 140year history and its collection of art and antiques. Admission is $25.99 for adults and $13.99 for children aged 6 to 12. HOMETOWN HOLIDAY IN THE PARK

On December 7th, Clarke House Park will come alive for the Hometown Holiday in the Park, running from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Attendees will experience the charm of an old-fashioned holiday celebration, where enchanting traditions come to life. The event features a bustling holiday shopping village, exciting hayrides, captivating live performances, and an interactive tour of the historic Clarke House. Families will also have the opportunity to create cherished memories with Santa as they stroll along a beautifully illuminated light trail.

SANTA SUITS ON THE LOOSE 5K

The Santa Suits on the Loose 5K will take place on Saturday, December 14th, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Johns County Ocean Pier Park. Participants are invited to join this festive event by walking, jogging, or running along a flat 3.1-mile course that winds through the charming neighborhoods of St. Augustine Beach. Registration fees range from $30 to $40. This event not only promises a fun day for all ages but also supports a good cause, as the proceeds benefit St. Augustine Youth Services. The race kicks off at 8 AM, encouraging the community to come together and embrace the holiday spirit.

CHRISTMAS AT THE CABIN

On December 19th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the holiday spirit will shine brightly at this annual celebration featuring twinkling lights and cheerful carolers. Attendees can enjoy music and dance performances at the historic Beaches Museum Chapel, admire period décor and lights throughout the history park, and gather around an open fire for marshmallow roasting. This festive event invites everyone to come together and celebrate the season.

A NIGHT OF WONDERS

On December 28th at 5:00 PM, the holiday magic comes alive at 1910 Wells Rd, Orange Park. This enchanting event, titled “A Night of Wonders,” features themed nights, silent disco parties, and delightful surprises. Attendees can enjoy the festive spirit by skating on an ice rink or dancing with Santa, capturing the joy of the Christmas season.

NEW YEAR’S EVE FIREWORKS

On December 31st, along the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, a spectacular fireworks display will welcome the New Year. Friends and family are encouraged to arrive at the waterfront before midnight to secure a good vantage point for the celebration. The captivating fireworks will commence precisely at midnight, providing a festive farewell to 2024.
