Andy went Western Colorado University, received a B.A. in Geology and lived in Gunnison 13 years, then moved to Crested Butte in 1992. He received a J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 1993. Living a couple of blocks from Downtown CB. I love being able to walk or bike everywhere. It feels like “community” when I chat with friends passing by or when a neighbor stops to offer shoveling help! Being a “city girl” from NY, I’d still choose to live in Town with the convenient access to hiking and Nordic trails and the bus at the 4-way and not have to drive everywhere!

We love where we live - but a second home at The Reserve on the East River would be pretty nice...

Dan McElroy is a seasoned real estate broker the valley, logging more than 50 years of experience in Crested Butte real estate sales. My family and I live in the town of Crested Butte. We really like the convenience of town life and being able to ride our bikes to work, school, store, etc. We can also ride or Nordic ski right out our door and be at the top of the high lift in twenty minutes. I moved to Crested Butte to live in Crested Butte so there is no where I would rather live.

Since 1971, Eric has owned and operated Penelope’s Restaurant, The Powerhouse Bar & Grill, The Cement Creek Tavern and The Wooden Nickel. Ruth and I have resided on our 35 acres in the Crested Butte Meadows since 1988 where we raised our two children, Pearce and Alexis. Only 17 minutes from Town, we enjoy all that Crested Butte has to offer and yet can experience mountain living to the fullest.

Heather skied her way to Crested Butte in 1991. Born and raised in New England and Quebec, she moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1987 to study at the University of Colorado. One visit to Crested Butte, and she knew it would be her forever home. After a successful start in real estate in 2004, she joined the Coldwell Banker team and has since earned the International Sterling Society Award. A bit of privacy and seclusion but still close to town, but honestly there are so many areas that I love it would be difficult to pick a favorite.

Originally from Minnesota, a ski vacation brought Rachael to Crested Butte at the age of fifteen. Rachael returned to attend Western State College and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Communications and Business. After moving to Crested Butte, Rachael pursued a career as a professional snowboarder, achieving numerous top five finishes, including the national title in the 2001 U.S. Extreme Snowboarding Championship. When it became time to transition from competing professionally into a new career, choosing real estate came naturally to Rachael. Ryan first obtained his real estate license in 2004 and comes from a family of real estate investors and builders. He has been involved in a number of small businesses in Crested Butte area in addition to being a Realtor. Sandy first came to Crested Butte in 1981. She is a Bachelor of the Arts from California State University, Long Beach. She has been a real estate consultant since 2002. Tammy was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Crested Butte with her boyfriend, Joe, in 1987 where they were married in 1990. Tammy and Joe own and operate a design and build company called Armour Construction Company. Tammy obtained her real estate license in 1991 and has been helping sellers and buyers in the valley ever since. She has a thorough knowledge of property management having worked for a premier property management company in the late 80’s and most of the 90’s. Tammy, her husband Joe and their Siberian Husky, Kiska, spend most of their time outdoors skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.

Born in St. Louis, Tom has been an outdoorsman all his life. Fly-fishing, camping, canoeing, rafting and skiing lured him to Colorado where he earned a BSBA from the University of Denver. He has owned and operated businesses in distribution, manufacturing and software development. Tom and his wife, Donna, raised three children spending most of their vacation time in the mountains and have lived in Mt. Crested Butte since 1999.
