SHABBAT GAMES FOR THE KIDS.. Look what's new for you! CBI will now have a Shabbat Game Cart located in the alcove of the Social Hall each Shabbat morning. The game cart will have games for children to play while their parents enjoy the Kiddush. PARENTS! Please assist your child in cleaning up before leaving.

We special order. TALLITOT FOR WOMEN We are very fortunate to be an egalitarian Synagogue where women and men are equal. Women count in minyan and share the same honors as our gentlemen counterparts. Women are invited to wear a talit. The Judaica Shop carries an entire array of tallitot imported from Israel in various price ranges. Stop by and check us out!

s the Fund Raising VP, I am charged with raising funds for the shul. I am often asking for money. This month I am asking for your time. If you have some time, any time, CBI could use your talents. In an economic climate where it is harder for people to pull out their checkbook and make a donation of money, consider a donation of time!! Even if you feel you have no money or time to give, you can help CBI by online shopping, shopping at GFS with a Fun Funds card and participating in the CBI scrip program!!!!! Pick one or 2 retailers that you frequent and purchase a scrip card(s). Next time you shop or dine or fill up your car there, it will feel good since you will have already paid and raised money for CBI. Learning about Scrip seems complicated at first but it is easy once you get the hang of it. SHABBAT MORNING CHILDCARE On some Shabbatot we have no children in the childcare program. We are instituting a new procedure. If you would like to request childcare for yo u r p r e s c h o o l e r s f o r Shabbat morning, please call the synagogue office by Wednesday prior to the Shabbat, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
