In Force: On Proclamation Gunshot and Stab Wound Mandatory Disclosure Act Bill 46 Amends: None Summary: Requires a health care facility or emergency medical technician who treats a gunshot or stab wound to disclose information to police as soon as reasonably practical, including the injured person’s name, the name and location of the health care facility or location where the injured person was treated, and other information required by regulation. Exempts any stab wound that is reasonably believed to be self-inflicted or unintentionally inflicted. Provides protection from liability for anything done or omitted to be done in good faith under the Act.
