News & World Report Cazenovia College is an independent, coeducational college, located in Cazenovia, New York, offering baccalaureate programs in the liberal arts and professional studies.

The Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Studies program provides students with the tools they need to enter into a career in the fields of law enforcement and homeland security, to pursue a graduate degree, or attend law school. The program is designed to educate students to be critical thinkers who communicate effectively, and who act in an ethical manner. The program has a rigorous curriculum taught by dedicated faculty uniquely qualified in their academic disciplines. A major in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice are available.

SAMPLE COURSEWORK Criminal Justice and Homeland Security majors will participate in an internship in the career path of their choice, such as • criminal justice • homeland security • law • youth/juvenile delinquency • private investigation • probation and parole Internships allow students to assess their interest and apply their classroom knowledge in real-world, hands-on experiences in the field. The program director and the cooperating agencies assess the best placement for students based on the student‘s academic preparation, past experiences and personal maturity.
