ELECTIONS AT CAVE HILL

Voting, which the returning officer reassured everyone would be done physically, will take place at set polling stations across the campus as was done in the past. The use of electronic machines for the submission and counting of ballots was also confirmed by the returning officer, and a public demonstration of such will be conducted at an earlier date in the season. During the countdown days before the end of the nomination period, the electoral committee would have also taken to social media to release some councilor testimonial videos which was intended to encourage persons to put themselves up for service. Students are still advised to go ahead and watch these videos as it may provide some clarity on a few of the roles. Overall, the guild council encourages students to look out for appointments as well as the necessary by-elections which will inevitably postdate the election season.
