An outstanding prospect for herd bull. His excellent genetics, being sired by Basswood of Swains, an AHCA Impact Sire and progeny of Gille Buidhe of Benmore (the gene machine) provide those old line Scottish genetics. His dam, a powerful black cow sired by HI Oscar-03, was the 2008 NWSS Senior Heifer champ and is also a half sib to the top bull Zorrow 2nd of Dundonald. Basswood 2nd had limited use in 2011 and his progeny are impressive. He was selected 2012 NWSS Reserve Champion Junior Yearling Bull and Grand Champion at both Osceola and Kalamazoo.
