Destiny?

by C.L. Watkins

You are not here by chance but by God’s amazing grace. He hand-formed you and made you the person you are today. He will never compare you to anyone else. In His eyes, you are one of a kind. He shows us that we all have a purpose and gives us an amazing destiny.

Ecclesiastes 3:1: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

That tells us that we are very important to God. He sent His only Son to give us everlasting life. Jesus chose to hang on the cross and gave His life for You and me.

Matthew 10:38: “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”

That’s as simple as it reads: we can follow Jesus just as the disciples did when He was here on earth teaching and working for His Father.

Matthew 4:19: “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” We all need to follow the Lord’s guidance, and He will help us to maintain in the right direction. If you ask Jesus into your heart, He will forgive you of your sins. Romans 10:9: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:10: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Oh, what a true friend we have in Jesus. He’ll never leave us, and He’ll never forsake us. He gives us life, and we can step into a new day, move forward, and not look back.

We can have the same power as Jesus did here on Earth. He still has the same power in Heaven and earth. Acts 1:8: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the Earth.”

I believe in you, and so does God. Have faith in God and believe upon His name. You can have the everlasting life that He freely gives.

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Romans 15:13: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Today, take time to immerse yourself in God’s word, and pray and fast because He cares for you.
