Module 1 Overview of HIV Infection, Care and Antiretroviral Treatment in Children This module consists of four (4) units that are primarily lecture/discussion/demonstration. The module provides the introduction to and background of the whole problem of HIV, and it is a good starting point for psychosocial care and counseling for children and adolescents. Suggested Trainers: Facilitating learning of the content of this module can be done by health care providers with practical experience and knowledge in caring for children living with HIV.
