he Nexus Society is an entrepreneurship club where students learn how to set up and manage a business. The J2s participated in the National Cashflow Competition 2015 organized by NTU students. The J1s competed in the Singapore Chapter of Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship 2015 (SAGESG), where students were given an opportunity to learn about social entrepreneurship and participate in a national competition. Our J1 students, Russell Lee Xuan Yu, Lee Jia Min Claudia, Christiana Gunawan and Diya Malaney, won 3rd Place in the SG 50 Entrepreneur Trail Competition 2015, where the trail features 50 of our nation’s entrepreneurs who have contributed to Singapore’s economy.

The Nexus Society engaged Singapore National Cooperative Federation to display a Journey Wall Exhibition at CJC during the National Day period. In conjunction with SG50, the Journey Wall was an exhibition that showcased Singapore’s main events since the 1920s, highlighting prominent social needs which gave rise to different Cooperatives. On 5th August 2015, the Minister of Education, Mr Heng Swee Keat ,visited the Journey Wall Exhibition when it was showcased at CJC.

Our 39th Annual General Meeting took place on 27 May .
