ymnastics is a sport involving the performance of exercises requiring flexibility, balance and control. Catholic Junior College offers all three disciplines 4 of gymnastics: Rhythmic Gymnastics, which emphasises on dance-like rhythmic routines, with the use of ribbons or hoops; Artistic Gymnastics, where gymnasts present their strength and flexibility through apparatus such as rings, bars, balance beam; and Trampoline Gymnastics, where gymnasts perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. Throughout CJC’s history, Gymnastics has done the school proud by performing commendably in various inter-school competitions. Jacqueline Wee Hwee Ping from year 2000 achieved remarkable results in the Inter-School Artistic Gymnastic Competition by being the overall champion and in 2011 CJC’s gymnastic team achieved extraordinary results with the trampoline men’s and women’s teams attaining third while the rhythmic gymnastics team clinched the 1st runner-up position. This year, CJC’s gymnastics team achieved the following medals:
