Ricke leads board as new chair

Christina Ricke, people development leader at K*Coe Isom, began a two-year term as chair of the Catholic Charities Board of Directors July 1.

Christina has served on the board since 2010, and brings expertise in accounting and human resources to her role on the board. She succeeds Jeff Leonard, an attorney with Triplett, Woolf & Garretson who completed his two-year term as board chair. He remains on the board and continues in his leadership role overseeing the construction project for Adult Day Services.

Chris Goebel, CEO of Star Lumber & Supply, is beginning a two-year term as vice chair of the board. Steve Hayes, owner of Five Point Ventures, is serving as secretary, while Monte Cooke, president and CEO of Commerce Bank, remains as treasurer.

New directors Chuck Marshall and Kevin Mitchelson each begin a three-year term on the board. Marshall is a banking consultant with K*Coe Isom and Mitchelson is an attorney with Wheeler & Mitchelson in Pittsburg.

Jason Searle and Mary Jane Wooten concluded their service to the board and were honored at the board’s June 24 meeting. They served seven years and six years, respectively, and we greatly appreciate the many gifts they brought to the board.
