Our Community. Our Family. Catholic Charities Serves Even in Crisis
As a social service agency, Catholic Charities plays an important role in serving the needs of the community, especially in times of crisis.
Our ministries continue to serve clients, although the delivery of those services might be a bit different as we follow social distancing recommendations. We are providing most outreach services via telephone and many counseling services through telehealth. Our Daily Bread Food Pantry has become a drive-thru. Adult Day Services has suspended public outings and communal meals. St. Anthony Family Shelter and Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter have taken steps to make sure families remain healthy and safe.
We have seen an increase in the number of households coming to Our Daily Bread for food. We have an increased need for essential personal care items for our shelters and cleaning supplies for all our ministries.
If you would like to help us meet the needs of our neighbors in the coming weeks, please consider a financial contribution to our Faithful Servant Fund. Direct financial support provides Catholic Charities the greatest flexibility in meeting the needs of those we serve throughout the 25 counties that comprise the Diocese of Wichita.
