While wor king with t he R ed Cross, Lu c m e t a g ro u p o f talented , energetic childre n i n thi s sh e lt e r a n d t h e so n g was b or n. I t origin a te d as a w a y t o pa ss t h e t im e and up lift the other resi de n ts in t h e sh e lt e r, a n d soon b ecam e a r allying son g for t h e ir t e m pora ry h om e. A month l a te r, m e m o rie s o f t h e e x p er ience and of the s ong called Luc b ack, and wi th a f i n anci a l gift fro m h is gra n d f a t h e r, Luc retur ned to the s helter to tr y to tr ack down the chi l dren. H e f ound th e m j u st b e f ore t h e y w e re b eing re-located to tr ailer s , and gathered them together t o s ing on c e aga in , in t h e h op e s of find ing a way to record this exp er ience. H ealing Plac e C h u rc h op e n e d t h e ir d oor s and without hes itation d onated thei r hi gh-tech medi a s tudio to the pro je c t f o r se ve ra l day s .
