AirLux 8000 - The Mobile, Flexible Fume Extraction Solution
Reduce the health risks wherever the job takes you with the AirLux 3000. Compact and portable, designed to go where the welder goes, this unit traps up to 99.97% of hazardous metal particles contained in welding fumes. The AirLux 3000 has an automatic start/stop feature that senses when the welder begins. After welding the unit keeps running for 5 to 25 seconds, conserving energy. The 3000 is also equipped with a “full filter” indicator. An AirLux 2500 model without the start/stop function and full filter light is also available. High vacuum/low volume extraction systems are effective for source extraction at a distance of 2” to 4” from fume generation point.
The AirLux 8000 is a mobile welding fume extraction unit offering easy, trouble-free operation and low maintenance. It is ideal for light duty and intermittent maintenance and repair welding operations. The durable metal enclosure withstands heat and will provide lasting fume elimination in tough workshop environments. The AirLux 8000 easily moves around the workshop and the arm rotates a full 360° for flexible access to work areas. Simply plug it in and start welding. Low vacuum/high volume extraction systems are effective for source extraction at a distance of 6” to 12” from fume generation point.

The pre-separator captures the larger particles in the air stream and prevents sparks from reaching the filter. It is easily dismantled for cleaning.
By simply folding the handle down the coarse separator can be removed for service and the filter cartridge can be changed.

The filtration surface is 56 ft.2 and has a filtration capacity corresponding to 440 lbs. of welding wire.
Filter changes and cleaning are made easy with access doors at the front and the rear of the unit. The Airlux 8000 comes standard with a filter cleaning nozzle that attaches to any shop air supply line to manually clean the filter.
