Start a family tradition of spending your Independence Day in The Village at Sunriver. Purchase tickets to use at the many fun attractions. Get your face painted by some of your favorite characters, purchase a unique balloon creation or try your hand at some classic carnival-style games. Enjoy live entertainment on the main stage and, if you’re feeling up to the challenge, enter the watermelon eating contest. Get up close and personal with some of your favorite animals at the petting zoo or go for a pony ride. Don’t forget to take a moment to sit back and relax with some delicious food from one of the food vendors as we celebrate our nation. Fun, food, and memories await at the annual 4th of July Festival presented by First Interstate Bank.
New this year is the Village at Funriver Street Party, presented by Tumbleweed Toys. For four consecutive Friday afternoons, you can find a DJ dance party in the Kid’s Play Area. Alpine Entertainment staff will be on hand to teach choreography to the songs, and the Goody’s mascot Shakey might even make an appearance. There will be fun games and contests for all ages to participate in, and of course, prizes galore! You do not want to miss out on this fun, free event.
Look out for musical performances throughout the summer at the Starry Nights Summer Music Series presented by Village Bar & Grill. The whole family will enjoy dancing and singing along to show stoppers from the 50s and 60s with the Klassixs Ayre Band. Free family fun at Big Daddy’s Variety Show, featuring a family trivia game that’s fun for all ages! Listen to Michael John perform classics that are sure to entertain.
