BY SANAYI313 ARCHITECTS Café di Dolce is a contemporary patisserie in the waterfront district of Kuruçeşme of which the interior is an impressive, theatrical space inspired by grand Parisian cafes, featuring black and white marble flooring and a mixture of custom-made furniture in rich fabrics and textures. The statement flower installation by Turkish glass artist Nahide Büyükkaymakci, is a reference to Café Di Dolce’s famous floral cakes and includes over two thousand peonies carved out of plexiglass, suspended from the glass dome. Bespoke velvet upholstered banquettes, terrazzo table-tops and bronze detailing create the sense of having tea in the lobby of a grand hotel in
Paris, whilst the self-playing Disklavier piano in the corner of the cafe plays jazz, for some added theatrical ambience. Address: Pınar, PınarMahallesi, KatarCaddesi, İstinyePark AVM No:11, 34345 - Sarıyer/İstanbul, Turkey

BY H2R DESIGN Chunk Social For the design of the interiors, H2R Design focused on preserving the identity of Chunk but to also uplift the personality with a design that was more in-tune with the concept. With the inspiration to keep it raw, transparent and honest, a minimal interior design was developed keeping the space clean, fresh and neutral. This allowed contrasts to be revealed against the canvas and to let the menu do the talking. The colour palette of this project can be defined as refreshing and neutral with concrete, stainless steels and black metal as the predominant chromaticity across the locations. Black Drop
BY ARK4LAB OF ARCHITECTURE Black drop is a coffee shop where coffee is treated more like an experience, an urban act. A stand built of mosaic becomes an interactive space for informing and exchanging views on the art of coffee. Materials such as copper, terrazzo, exposed concrete, old wood surfaces, rusted walls gives you the sense that you are a part of a laboratory where you can act and react. Black drop is a place where post industrial contemporary urban aesthetics meet the 'obsession' of coffee lovers in a way that coffee experience becomes a social act. BY OFICINA DE PRÁCTICA ARQUITECTÓNICA Meroma Located in the heart of Colonia Roma Norte, the restaurant is immersed in one of the most popular neighborhoods in Mexico City. The main dining hall was designed in a dynamic setup in order to accommodate 35 people. This compact space holds a minimum of constructive elements and lighting details. Here, the main character is the natural light from the high dome which is covered with the foliage of the trees outside. The result is a glass ceiling draped in fallen leaves. The constructive materials selection for the entire project such as terrazzo, and precasted concrete, and wood for the architectural elements and furniture, where selected from a close conceptual process undertaken with the chefs and Piselli SUD their ideas on the food and ambiance they looked for in their design. The aim BY CARBONDALE was to create a single harmonic pallet of Nestled within the vegetal oasis and encompassed in sunlight the unique design for Piselli, conceived as a “Restaurant in the Garden”. To enhance the outdoor atmosphere further a green ring of foliage that embraces the entire space, covered materials and colors that would bring each space an atmosphere of its own and would give a unique character to the restaurant while limiting the use of decorative pieces. Address: Colima 150, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc, 06700 –Mexico City, Mexico dining terrace extends out into the garden and a discrete garden path leads guests to an exclusive entry. The large wood surfaces establish the warm, rich interior ambiance while the dramatic highly reflective ceiling beautifully reflects the adjacent vegetation and flowers adding to the illusive and ephemeral enchantment. To create intimate and cozy dining areas CARBONDALE has divided the spacious restaurant volume into different seating areas including the lounge, the bar, the dining room, the intimate booths each providing different dining experiences. Meland Club Shenzhen

BY X + LIVING With the autumn theme, the restaurant included within the Shenzhen Meland Club creates a friendly and warm atmosphere. The stitching of seemingly irregular geometry and the accumulation of bright colors are not disordered and chaotic, on the contrary, it’s a harmonious relationship between internal elements and the overall theme after careful planning. And every detail has practical functional significance. Address: Shenzhen UniwalkShopping Mall –Shenzhen, China
Gemini Roastery

BY YOD GROUP The interior, décor details and menu are tied around the coffee theme. The cafe space is decorated in the typical style of American cafe: graphite-pastel colors, laconic handmade furniture, decoration of natural materials - wood, concrete, metal, leather. The centerpiece of the interior is a bar counter, where in the evening the author's coffee cocktails are prepared. One has only to go to the bar area, as before the eyes there is a spectacular view of shelving with alcohol, which have no end - thanks to the darkened mirror on the ceiling, their magnitude is emphasized. Address: AntonovychaSt 172, 03150 -Kyiv, Ukraine

Par Bar
PRO Espresso BY YUDIN DESIGN bar The focal point of the interiors is the bar counter resembles the letter U and is a glass showcase under which the designers have laid 1300 tablets of coffee pomace. To show the progressiveness of this coffee bar in the interior, the YUDIN Design team used a calm color scheme, sleek and streamlined shapes, while panoramic windows evoke a feeling of confidence, stability and comfort. In general terms, the style of the interior can be delineated as Scandinavian futurism. Besides, the designers have developed original tables with a recess for bags in the shape of a letter U. Le Pristine Xaman

NEW
BY SPACE COPENHAGEN For Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, founders of Space Copenhagen, bringing Le Pristine to life has been an exercise in using design to weave together art, gastronomy and architecture, resulting in a project that seeks to celebrate Antwerp as a destination. Space Copenhagen saw its role in Le Pristine as orchestrating a composition of diverse references, creating a space that feels distinctly modern, whilst reaching back in time to honour the architecture and art of the city. The interiors play host to an inviting collage of historic references and contemporary palettes, harnessing the collective energy of the chefs, artists, and craftspeople involved. Address: Lange Gasthuisstraat13, 2000 Antwerpen, Belgium BY ESTUDIO ATEMPORAL Located in the jungle of Tulum, Xaman's succession of concrete volumes emerge from the ground to contrast with the vegetation creating a series of pavilions with a heavy material feel that at the same time can be felt light by its structure. This space generates a very particular and not so obvious experience, making it feel like the discovery of a site of ruins within the jungle, which makes us question its temporality, as if it had always been there. Address: Carretera Tulum, boca pailakm 7.7 -Tulum, Mexico
BY YODEZEEN Par Bar is a new restaurant and bar in a residential area of Kyiv, created according to the principle of genuineness. Its concept is plotted on beauty through simplicity. The combination of natural materials such as wood and stone defines a warm home space. Preparing such handicrafts like slats, tables and chairs, YODEZEEN worked closely with a small team of individual wood craftsmen, and most of the decor and furniture solutions were modeled from the sketches of the studio's designers. The character of the interior is also underlined by several expansive gestures: the architects considered the emptiness created by the high ceilings - so they chose a minimalistic black color and almost invisible lamps, reminiscent of tree branches, hanging elegantly and almost invisibly. Address: Shota Rustaveli St 10, 02000 -Kyiv, Ukraine

Raimunda
BY MADRID IN LOVE STUDIO The decoration of the Raimunda restaurant has been based on the legend of the daughter of the Marquises of Linares, whose ghost would remain enclosed within the walls of the palace. For this reason, Madrid in Love Studio has stripped the premises, exposing the brick and cement, as if trying to escape. To link the building to its stage as Casa de América, Raimunda is reincarnated as a mestizo woman who presides over the room and surrounds herself with elements such as ethnic fabrics, rattan and vegetation. In the club area, a more sophisticated style of interior design has been adopted, while the terrace is inspired by the great explorers, with impressive spherical balls of light. Address: Madrid, Spain
La Vaca y La Huerta

BY ZOOCO ESTUDIO The restaurant’s name means “The cow and the orchard” and it talks about the main product of the restaurant and the starting point for us to start with the project. The designers created a metallic lattice to show the existing walls and to give the new features to the ambiance. The geometry of the lattice comes from an abstraction of the world of agriculture and livestock. This lattice materializes in a natural oak wood in the areas of smooth walls and in black lacquered metal in the areas of the brick walls. The metallic structure is duplicated in some points to create the back bar station or storage spaces. Address: Calle de Recoletos7 -Madrid, Spain

Theorem Winery
BY RICHARD BEARD ARCHITECTS Located west of downtown Calistoga, the twostory building, featuring dark roofing and siding, is a steel structure with a cross-axis floor plan. Axial vistas allow for views from and through the winery facility. Steel-framed glass doors and windows fill the interior spaces with natural light, reducing the need for supplemental lighting in the fermentation room and visually connecting interior spaces to the natural surroundings. The area is marked by a simple table with chairs and a chandelier that blends perfectly with the minimalist style of the cellar. In addition, the roof features a continuous monitor to provide ample daylight into the structure. Address: 255 Petrified Forest Rd -Calistoga, CA, USA
Daily

BY SIVAK+PARTNERS This coffee place has an arthouse movie atmosphere. From every perspective you have a sense of a movie episode where people casually interact with each other. The counter area is made in warm tones and with an accent to black like the stools or the lighting system (which also acts as shelves for the plants). The floor is made with a geometric pattern that fits perfectly with the rest of the design. Daily's interiors are simple and clean but meanwhile very stylish with a strong visual impression. So, this place is not just a coffee shop, but also kind of an urban space, offering some social events like ‘’Breakfast with an interesting person”, hosting different famous people sharing some inspiring speeches with guests. Address: RishelievskaStreet 33–Odessa, Ukraine
Mulberry
BY OPEN AD OPEN AD introduced 21st century interpretations of the wall panelling and cornices which had disappeared from the ground floor space. The furniture is a modern take on classic pieces. The designers embraced rich materials like velvet, marble, brass and wood. The flowing shapes of the furniture are a nod to Art Nouveau. A handmade wall decor honors the craftsmanship and skill of the pastry chefs. The collage is made of sieves, spoons and spatulas. It references just how much work and attention goes into every pastry. This incredible attention to detail was also a guiding principle for Open AD in the overall design of the Mulberry. Address: Ausekļa iela 14 –Riga, Latvia
