The Casa da Cerca - Contemporary Art Center is a cultural facility of the Municipality of Almada . Based in a former farmhouse eighteenth recreation , opened to the public on 18 November 1993. Its mission is to investigate and promote contemporary art , focusing on the design discipline , studying , exhibiting, teaching about and to practice drawing. Programs activities and complementary events in the field of fine arts but also other artistic areas .
