Our small SUV comparison tests are an example of how we can provide maximum value to our in-market viewers and readers.

Generally shot over a period of two or three days, they are also valuable for our journalists, allowing them to get down to the granular details on what separates key segment rivals. In our early 2021 small SUV test, we compared a newcomer, the Kia Stonic, against a long-running favourite, the Mazda CX-3, and for good measure lined both up against the Hyundai Kona to see whether it’s worth going slightly bigger for the same money.
