Shot in late 2020 for an early 2021 publish, our small hatch comparison test takes three of the best-equipped models in Australia including the Suzuki Swift, Kia Rio, and Toyota Yaris, and pitches them head-to-head to see if one objectively pulls ahead.

The interesting thing about this test was that each car has a distinctly different personality, despite playing in the exact same space. We tested them against the backdrop of both curvy national park roads as well as the confines of the city to allow each of them a chance to shine.
