Marywood is a private Catholic institution committed to the integration of liberal arts and professional studies. Founded in 1915, Marywood University offers 97 degree programs and has been welcoming international students to campus since its founding.

UNDERGRADUATE DEADLINES

Location The campus is 193 km (120 miles) west of New York City and 185 km (115 miles) north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both Philadelphia and New York City are approximately a 2 ½ hour car ride from Marywood University. Marywood is easily accessible by automobile, bus, and air. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is just a ten-minute ride from Marywood’s campus. 4

STUDENT LIFE AND RESOURCES Marywood provides a full college experience, offering a wide range of services and organizations to support your learning and campus life. * Our Dining facilities offer a wide selection of balanced meals, including alternative eating, such as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. There are five residential and retail dining locations on campus. * A Reflection Room on campus is used by Marywood students, faculty, and staff wishing to carry out either structured or unstructured meditation, reflection or prayer, whether singly or collectively. * The International Club helps international students adapt to American culture and also offers domestic students an opportunity to discover diverse cultures on campus. Club activities include international dinners, field trips to major cities in the Eastern U.S., game and movie nights, art exhibitions, and fundraising events.
