Sales Rep Pick of the Lists A favorite of booksellers, publishers and reps talk about their hottest picks on their fall and winter lists. Presentations won’t be repeated. If you have several booksellers at the show, split up so you can share the information conveyed at both sessions. Marketing sheets are available at the front of the rooms, so please pick them up on your way to your seat. Also, please talk to these sales reps individually in their booths. They are eager to hear from you!

THE MOVEABLE FEAST

12:00–1:50 PM, GREAT HALL

Sponsored by Ingram

The Moveable Feast is an opportunity for authors to connect with frontline booksellers. Thirty authors visit several tables of booksellers while lunch is being served. Booksellers have assigned seats to ensure their stores meet as many authors as possible. Once the meal and rotations are complete, all authors remain at the final tables and the two keynote speakers give their address. Ticketed event with no general admission.

Keynote Authors Gorgeously told, sparkling with warmth and humor, Wild is the story of a young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that maddened, strengthened, and ultimately healed her. Strayed’s first novel Torch (Houghton Mifflin, 2006) was a finalist for the Great Lakes Book Award and was selected by The Oregonian as one of the top ten books of the year by writers from the Pacific Northwest. Born in Pennsylvania, raised in Minnesota, Strayed now lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and their two children.
