YOUNG CHILDREN

Your International Young Children Committee was pleased to bring you four outstanding programs for the recent virtual Leadership and Education Conference. The focus was on Education (Literacy), Safety and Nutrition . Each program left you with a project or projects that you could use for your own club projects . We hope you were able to access them while attending the conference or in follow up days that are available. If not, we will feature them individually in the project space of the upcoming newsletters that are published monthly. Never has there been a more important time to reach out to our young children. Given the pandemic (better but still with us) many of our young children have been in great need of care (child abuse, food shortage, school only virtually or not at all and medical care). Kiwanians are the best advocates for young children. We are their best volunteers for helping them “Learn, Laugh, Love and Play.” Thank You for all you do and do so very well for our young children . DISTRICT SERVICE INITIATIVE: Adopt-A-School

In many areas, Kiwanis clubs that have been active partners for years are unable to be on campus. Despite restrictions, schools need all the help and support they can get.
