An artist with a strong presence in the stationery world, specializing in custom hand-painted wedding invitations and whimsical watercolor maps. Serving clients since 2007 while gaining recognition in the wedding market for my unique and personalized designs. Located in the northern suburbs of Chicago is where you will find my studio nestled in the historical district of downtown Grayslake. I have worked with clients all over the US, and internationally. In 2015 the company went through a rebrand, my two companies merged into one. With a nod to my dad that passed away on August 21st, Eight21 Studios was born. Another way I carry him in my artwork is with a #821 hidden in my custom maps. You can find the hashtag on an airplane, a boat, or even a ski lift in Vail. Just a little fun fact about the company name, the hashtag, and my dad. #821 In the Spring of 2020, while the wedding world crashed, we threw some spaghetti at the wall and birthed the Greeting Card line with a handful of Mother’s Day cards that allowed people to connect and express love and care to their loved ones even when physical visits were not possible due to the pandemic. Selling over 800 DTC units in one week. Currently we have expanded our line to over 500 designs, encompassing both holiday and all-occasion cards.
