Elon Ebanks is inspired by nature. The movement and natural flow of tree branches, clouds passing by...Peace Dove resulted from a lot of years in the making. Ebanks created Peace Dove to resemble two doves moving swiftly through the sky. The title seemed fitting. Ebanks created this sculpture using a half-inch dish steel. The mill finish is the surface textured finish of metal after it rolls through the mill resulting in the gently curved sculptural shapes. Ebanks’ sculpture has a rhythmic order with the use of repetition of lines that have a gradual flow, similar to what you see in nature. 4
