Deanne Sabeck designs and

fabricates beautiful kinetic light sculptures that are activated by wind and light. Heliotrope III is made of stainless steel and dichroic glass allowing light and shadow to transform her sculpture. Dichroic glass displays one of two different colors depending on lighting conditions. In Sabeck’s piece, there are hints of blue and green tones and then next glimpse, there are pinks, oranges and some hints of yellows. Sabeck draws inspiration from nature, floral shapes and colors, and is drawn to beautifully curved helix shape.
