Welcome to this year’s Christmas in Carlow brochure, the go-to guide for what’s on in and around Carlow town and county over the 2016 festive period. Now in its fourth year, the Christmas in Carlow initiative is all about promoting the huge range of activities and attractions on offer throughout Carlow town and county which will appeal to both locals and visitors alike. For our “little locals” there will be no shortage of things to do. In Carlow town we will have the ever popular Santa’s Christmas Bounceland, a brand new Giant Santa Postbox & super festive experiences in the Dome, Rancho Reilly’s and more. Throughout the county we have some of Irelands most popular Christmas attractions including the Rathwood Santa Train Experience in Tullow, the ever popular Christmas Village in the Arboretum and Christmas at Huntington Castle to name but a few. Details of all of these attractions and much more are included in this booklet. For the more mature among us, we have everything from cookery demos with celebrity chef Nevin Maguire, Christmas Concerts, Pantos, Carol Services & Movies, Festive Farmers Markets, fireworks in Borris and a very special Form Craft Fair selling locally produced crafts & giftware. The music lovers among us will also be in for a treat with offerings to suit all tastes including performances from Moxie (Milford Room), Orla Fallon (Eist Celebration of Christmas), Liam Lawton (Visual), Luke Ray Lacey & Richie Kavanagh (Christmas In Carlow Kick Off Party).
