Congratulations to Carter Lawson and McKennah Mannix who were married in a lovely outdoor wedding at the farm home of the groom’s parents on Saturday. The reception and dance were held in Wainwright. The couple will be making their home in Irma.

Abigail Sewell and her son Chandler from Tennessee are visiting her sister Rachel Lawson and took in the wedding festivities.

Congratulations to former Irma resident Irene Tomlinson, daughter of Hugh and Aletha, on receiving a Citizen of the Year award from the city of Red Deer. Irene has a job in security and works to keep the residents and businesses in her community safe.
