Most people with dementia cannot relax and be themselves unless the environment clearly gives them that message. Every aspect of daily living can effect whether a person with dementia feels comfortable and at home. We have created a friendly and homely environment based on recent techniques and research so that residents can be as independent as possible. The home benefits from wide, bright and trip free areas. To enable people to walk about, we have the facility of a safe, private garden and have enhanced the corridor areas to encourage stimulating exercise in a safe manner. Safety measures are in place to protect our vulnerable residents including keypad access to and from the home.
