A brand new free dance event will be bouncing around Wales this Easter, including four dates in Cardiff! Chapter’s Coreo Cymru programme and National Dance Company Wales have selected four of Wales’ most animated and mesmerising companies to perform, including the energetic ‘Bounce’ by Harnisch-Lacey Dance (pictured) and ‘Into the Water’ by Up & Over It which featured on Britain’s Got Talent and started a hand-dancing YouTube craze! As well as a jam-packed hour of performance, families will have the chance to dance with a short workshop delivered by the professional dancers at the end of each event. And it won’t cost a penny. Family Dance Festival launches at Chapter on 7 & April, then visits Brecon, Newtown and Newport and finishes at Wales Millennium Centre on 21 & 22 April. No booking required.
