Provincial News Dahil sa maaring malaking problemang idudulot ng ASF kung sakaling makapasok man ito sa probinsya, ipinag-utos na rin ni governor Dale Corvera sa pamamagitan ng pag-issue ng executive order ang agarang pagbuo ng task force at ang pagkakaroon ng dagdag na mga quarantine areas sa lugar. Kabilang din sa inilabas na executive order ay ang temporaryong hindi pagpapapasok ng mga alagang baboy, karne ng baboy, at mga produktong gawa ng baboy mula sa mga lugar na apektado ng ASF.
Nanawagan din governor Corvera na patuloy ang pagkakaroon ng proper hygiene at ang pagiging maingat. Bilang pagtogon din sa problema ng ASF, inaktivate na ng Department of Agriculture Caraga ang emerging and re-emerging infectious animal disease o EREIAD task force upang tugonan ang problemang ito, bumuo na rin ng task force ang iba’t ibang local government units ng rehiyon at nagtutulongan na rin upang mas mapatupad ang quarantine ng mga papasok sa kani-kanilang mga lugar.
