THE CAPITAL MEDICAL SOCIETY FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS WELCOMES NEW BOARD DIRECTOR Patricia G. Holliday, MSW was elected to the Capital Medical Society Foundation Board of Directors on April 1, 2021. Welcoming her are continuing board members, John P. Mahoney, M.D., President; Walt Colón, D.M.D., Vice President; Nancy Loeffler, M.D., Secretary; David Stewart, M.D., Treasurer; J. Alan Cox, Esq.; H. Avon Doll, M.D.; Marlisha Edwards, M.D.; Paula S. Fortunas, M.A.; Terreze Gamble, M.D.; Tracey Hellgren, M.D.; David Jones, M.D.; Rohan Joseph, M.D.; Maribel U. Lockwood, M.D.; Al McCully, M.D., Emeritus; Faisal Munasifi, M.D.; Paresh Patel, M.D.; J. Brian Sheedy, M.D.; Joedrecka Brown Speights, M.D.; Jay Walton, D.D.S.; Barbara Williams, M.D.; and Charles Williams, M.D., Emeritus. Mrs. Holliday follows her passion by investing in the human services sector of the community in many areas. Her experience includes designing community-wide programs and initiatives to address pressing needs, writing the needs analysis for Florida A&M University to obtain its accreditation for the Master of Social Work degree, teaching grant-writing and grant management at the Florida State University, and serving as a member of the Community Advisory Board at Florida State University’s Institute for Family Violence Studies. Mrs. Holliday recently retired from the City of Tallahassee. As their Human Services Administrator, she coordinated the Community Human Service Partnership grant process. Mrs. Holliday was a strong advocate for local human service agencies and their clients. She has garnered the respect and gratitude of the human services agencies of Leon County for her many years of advocacy on their behalf. Mrs. Holliday earned a Master of Social Work degree from the Florida State University, specializing in indirect services, including program design and development and program evaluation. “Mrs. Holliday’s extensive background and passion for providing healthcare to all align with the CMS Foundation’s mission to improve healthcare access,” said Dr. John P. Mahoney, President, CMS Foundation. “We are grateful for her commitment to serve on the CMS Foundation Board of Directors and for her advocacy on behalf of the We Care Network.”
