WARBIRD PARK

Located at the Kings Highway entrance to Market Common, this nod to the US Air Force displays several aircraft alongside information about its importance in history. Aircraft on display include F-100 jet fighter, A-10 Warthog Thunderbolt and an A-7 Corsair. The Warbird Wall of Service honors everyone who served honorably at the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, whether military or civilian. Plus, the City of Myrtle Beach has relocated a 9/11 memorial, a beam from the North Tower of the World Trade Center to Warbird Park. Brookgreen Gardens is known for its artistic beauty by day, but now people can explore its beauty by night. Trees are illuminated with vibrant, saturated colors of blues, purples, and greens. Pathways are lit with over 900 twinkling wine bottles lining the edges. If you have ever wanted to see the potential of these Gardens once the sun goes down, this is your chance because this event will continue until August 13. The Gardens are opened daily.
