A completed Application for Admission to The Auburn School, including all required materials. A completed Auburn Leaf Scholarship Application. A letter of recommendation from an adult who is unrelated to the family. The letter must be sent directly to The Auburn School by the writer. A one-page typewritten parent statement on: "Our vision for our child and how Auburn can help achieve it." A student rendering of: “My ideal school”. The student’s rendering may be typed, handwritten, drawn or otherwise produced in a manner that demonstrates the student’s interests and abilities. Age and ability levels are taken into consideration when evaluating student submissions.
An Auburn Leaf Scholarship provides a full scholarship for the student to attend The Auburn School for up to nine years. The scholarship provides full tuition remission (currently $34,500 per year). Parents remain responsible for all school fees and any additional related service fees, if required for the student. The Scholarships will be awarded to the successful applicants who best display the qualities of an Auburn student including high potential for social and academic growth and leadership. Scholarships are renewed annually for each year the recipient attends The Auburn School. Renewal is conditioned on (i) the Student’s continued enrollment at The Auburn School under the terms and conditions of the Enrollment Contract; (ii) that the Student remains a member in good standing of The Auburn School student body as determined by the school administration based on guidelines in the Handbook for Students and Families; and (iii) that The Auburn School programs continue to benefit the student. The Auburn School reserves the right to use its sole discretion in determining the number of qualified scholarship recipients merited by the applications received.
