Capital Training (Apprentice Training Agency) Capital Training Group offers a unique and successful model for the management and delivery of apprenticeships throughout the UK. Our team has years of experience in the management and delivery of funded training programmes which provide a high quality service to employers. We operate on national government Contracts, so we are able to source and fund the provision for you. Once provision is sourced we will manage the entire training process for the client from customisation and implementation of the framework, to recruitment of learners and management of funding to pay for apprenticeship training. Our unique service also includes a managed employment service to the Client for each apprentice. Technical Certificates Practical Training Element, done on a release programme with learners going to college or training provider’s site – one day a week, or on one week blocks
National Vocational Qualifications On the job training – an assessor will visit the apprentice at work on a regular basis to assess and accredit tasks that they carry out from day to day
Every apprentice started, will undertake an initial induction programme to prepare them for coming on Site to work with your qualified staff. The induction is tailored to best suit your business and also includes a briefing on awareness of health and safety and equal opportunities. On completion of the induction the apprentice will begin work on their framework. Every Apprenticeship framework consists of 3 elements. At present the majority of our apprenticeships programs are planned to last 12 months from the start date. In some cases, where the programme of study is more intense or the employer requires more specific training to be undertaken, the program may take 18 months to complete. We will work closely with our client when it comes to deciding programme duration, and aims to provide flexibility on duration by altering the level of the day release, or delivery model.
Key skills Maths and English Learners will be required to complete Maths and English qualifications if they do not have GCSE’s at grades A – C achieved within the last years.
Our clients are not obliged to continue employment of an apprentice when they complete their qualifications. Capitals apprentice support consultants will engage with learners to secure alternative employment based on the skills they have gained whilst undertaking their apprenticeship. 17
