Northeast Stars
for Middle School students has been adjusted this year to maximize learning in core subjects and build back some of the socialization that was disrupted in 2020-2021. Even with universal masking both in and outdoors, the joy at being together again is palpable on everyone’s faces. The Northeast Stars are learning about grace, courtesy, self-care, taking care of the school environment, shapes and discovering Montessori basics. The classroom activities included saying “No, thank you,” “Please” and “Thank you,” mini scenarios to reinforce courtesy lessons, and practicing walking on ropes.
