last year’s activities bringing in the neighborhood of $140,000. The money is used to bring kids and adults on trips to the outdoors. Past trips included deer, predator and hog hunting in Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana, and along with multiple fresh water and salt water fishing trips in and around Southern Louisiana including the yearly Friends Fellowship Fishing Extravaganza, which draws about 120 disabled individuals a day to just enjoy the outdoors. One of the annual fundraisers is the Trinity Outdoors Bass Classic. The second annual event will be held out of Cabela’s on April 15. First place for the heaviest 5-bass stringer is guaranteed $10,000, and the angler catching the heaviest bass will take home $1,000.
