Referencestothevisualworldareoftenstartingpoints:faces,crowds,mountains,explosions, andbrokenwindows.Despitetheplayfulnessoftheprocess,themotivationisusuallyprompted bysomethingtroubling.Theresultsarelyricalandexpressive,providingasingularexperiencefor thespectator.

ArthasbeenintegraltoJulia'slifesincechildhood,butitwasnotuntilrecentlythatshebeganto shareherworkwiththeartcommunity.Raisedinahyper-religiouscommunity,shebeganan undergraduateinartatBrighamYoungUniversityin2016.Theconflictbetweenherinternal beliefsandtheexpectationsplacedonher.Sherediscoveredearlydoubtsaboutthereligious philosophiestaughttoheranddecidednottocontinuefollowingthatorganizedreligion.Andafter fivetumultuousandformativeyears,shehadabandonedherartdegreeinfavorofaquicker graduationwithabachelor'sdegreeinEnglish.Now,sheiscreatingartworkwithnewfound personalfreedomandhopestoconnectwithotherwomenstrugglingworldwidethroughherwork.
