A MESSAGE FROM

TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR INCUMBENT CANDIDATES

DAVID CARBONE and BRENDON CARROLL

Are proud and dedicated to work with our fellow distinguished board members and township staff to promote a reasonable, balanced, fiscally responsible and bipartisan approach to protect the safety, health and welfare of the Tobyhanna Township communities in all township business.

TOWNSHIP IDEALS that we remain committed to, with the results of our proven leadership:

The Township:

- has not had a municipal tax increase in more than 12 years

- operates and maintains a balanced budget

- has significant reserve funds established for capital improvements and emergencies

- has no debt, and has a strong borrowing capability

- pension fund is fully funded, and in a positive financial position

Township Supervisors:

- donate their salaries to further support various township organizations such as Pocono Mountain Regional Police Foundation, Pocono Summit Volunteer Fire Company, Tobyhanna Township Bureau of Fire, Pocono Mountain Regional EMS, Pocono Lions Club, Blakeslee Community Center, Clymer Library

- have selected and employed an experienced, professional, well-rounded staff to assist in managing all aspects of township business

- have made appointments of experienced residents to planning commission and zoning hearing board positions to present fair and reasonable recommendations to the board.

- have planned and completed the hike and bike trail, 940 bike lane, dog park, and progressed phase1 of the I-380/940 redesign, planned parks upgrades, and formed Tobyhanna Township Bureau of Fire for the benefit of residents and taxpayers

The question all township residents must ask themselves when going to the polls is: Do I want proven leaders who provide the township with fiscal responsibility, accountability and involvement, or unknown candidates without our combined years of hands-on knowledge and experience?
